Department of Cosmetic Technology
MGM University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has established the Department of Cosmetic Technology under the School of Basic and Applied Science in the academic year 2022-23. The course was designed as per the guide lines of NEP 2020 through which multiple entry & exit can be offer to the students with Multidisciplinary minor degree as per the students choice of interest for learning in various discipline. Cosmetic Technology is the study of the science and technology behind the manufacturing, marketing and sale of the cosmetic products. It involves understanding various chemical and natural ingredients of these products and their impacts on human body. It trains the students in the advanced cosmetic manufacturing processes and technologies, along with making them familiar with the other aspects of the product cycle. The course also focuses on developing the students’ personalities and inculcating in them the important soft skills that are the prerequisites of success in a professional career.
